Charles Wilcox has had a love affair with the ocean since his first steps into the waves. His artwork reflects his passion for water, sand and sun, and his works pay homage to the unpredictable nature of the sea.

From sculptures to fine paintings, Charles travels as far as Cape York in Far North Queensland for unique items and inspiration to use within his works. Each piece speaks of its journey: twisted branches smoothed by sand and water; blemished iron beautified by natural patina; aged and dog-eared newspapers revitalised by youthful ink beauties painted on top.
