Betina has worked in advertising, fashion and as a children’s book illustrator, both in Australia and overseas after attaining her diploma of art at RMIT in 1964. 


In 1987 she won the NSW Premier’s Literary Award for the children’s book A RABBIT NAMED HARRIS and has illustrated 15 Australia Post stamps and 8 stamps for the United Nations in New York.

Betina works in oil, watercolour. Mixed media and is an exhibiting member of the Victorian Artists Society, The Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors, The Australian Guild of Realist Artists, The Brighton Art Society and a member of The Portrait Society of America, the Australian Artists Association. She was treasurer of the Watercolour Society from 1995 to 1998.

She has exhibited in many art shows and her work has been selected to hang in the Alice Bale Award from 2001 to 2009
