I am a working artist, capturing people and their surroundings in everyday life. My artistic journey began in high school, where inspiring teachers nurtured my passion. At 12, I modeled for an artist’s studio, and at 10, I entered my first exhibition, receiving a 'Highly Commended' award. I later trained with a French painter, mastering traditional techniques, including impressionist methods.

Preferring private study over formal institutions, I attended various classes, studied at the NGV, and joined the Glenroy Art Group. At 19, I began teaching and eventually established my own art school. I have also illustrated children's books and taught art classes.

Traveling with my sketchbook, I capture life’s moments, using drawings and photography to inform my studio practice. Over the years, I have won multiple exhibition awards, including the Annie Davison Award in 2020.

Beyond painting, I judge exhibitions, give demonstrations, and continue to evolve as an artist. If I had to define my style, I’d call myself a tonal impressionist—but above all, I simply love to draw and paint.
